Beats Residency was a physical space in Shoreditch created to inspire creativity and celebrate music’s roles in culture. A multi-purpose events venue dedicated to the cultivation and advancement of culture.

Beats Residency

Merky Books “How To” Series
A series of roundtable talks in celebration of Stormzy-helmed publishing imprint Merky Books “How To” book series. Featuring everyone from Black Curriculum founder, Lavinya Stennet, to Joy Crookes and Love In Colour author Bolu Babalola, each talk was around a different book’s topic, such as Anthony Anazagorou’s How to Write It and Joshua Virasami’s How to Change It.
Stanley Donwood Exhibit
Partnered with acclaimed artist Stanley Donwood to host launch event for the release of his latest book, Bad Island. Donwood is best known for his longtime collaborations with Thom Yorke and the development of Radiohead's album artwork. The Residency Gallery remained open for public viewing the month following the launch.
Doja Cat Album Release
Official launch party for Doja Cat’s album, Juicy. Hosted an exclusive party for label members, local influencers, and die-hard listeners on Beats Music.
